Robert Crowell

Rob Crowell joined DSM Desotech in January 2007 as Vice President of Fiber Optic Materials. DSM Desotech is the global leader in the development and manufacturing of UV-curable protective coatings for fiber optic materials.

Prior to joining DSM Desotech, he served in several capacities for DSM Engineering Plastics in Evansville, Illinois from 1989 to December 2006. As Vice President of Marketing and Sales from January 2005 to December 2006, he was responsible for the development and execution of the business strategy in North and South America including merging the marketing, sales and technical support organizations.

As Vice President Marketing and Development from January 2002 to December 2004, he was responsible for the development and execution of strategic re-structuring of Engineering Plastics business in North and South America, which included developing a major growth initiative into automotive. Prior to these key roles, Mr. Crowell served as a Regional Sales Director and a Global Business Manager.

Mr. Crowell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola School of Law. He was licensed by admission to the Illinois Bar in November 1998.
